Job Description : We are seeking to recruit a Midday Manager to work at Sherard Primary School on a permanent basis, working 10 hours per week (11:30 am – 1.30 pm), Monday – Friday, term time only (38 weeks).The role of Midday Manager is an important one within the school and ensuring that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment. You will be required to manage a team of Midday Supervisors and be responsible for producing work schedules, staffing rotas and organising sickness absence cover.Experience of working within a similar role with children and knowledge of Child Protection and Behaviour Management policies are essential.You will have literacy and numeracy qualifications at NVQ Level 2, and be First Aid trained, or willing to undertake this training. Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be able to work flexibly within the team, be supportive and confident in leading groups and individuals, and respectful and caring towards the pupils.About the Mowbray Education TrustThe Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton.
