Job Description : About The Role

Our Digital Product Designer will help to BrewDog sites and apps with the intent to become class leading customer experience.

Working closely with the Design Lead, this role will be across an international family of websites and apps. We are currently creating a new Design System to be implemented across all digital products.
About the Team
This role forms part of the ever-expanding digital team, who manage all of BrewDog’s digital touch points and tech. Working remotely in the short-term but longer-term we are looking to be in the in our BrewDog Big Smoke office at Old Street two to three days a week.
You’ll be supported by tech experts, analysts, designers, UX, CX, global ecom teams and a broader brand marketing function, too.
About You
Minimum 2-3 years ecommerce design specific experience.
2-3 years mobile web or mobile app experience. Approx 80% of our traffic and sales are on mobile.
A passion for digital product design, typography and potentially digital illustration.
Skilled in graphics software, currently we use Figma.
Eyes on both UI detail and the end-to-end journey for customers.
Enjoy building prototypes (usually mobile first, but occasionally desktop), to formulate and communicate ideas, as well as for customer testing.
Collaborative, you’ll be working closely with the Design lead, Product Owner, Developers and Designers at 3rd party partners.
Ability to identify and solve key problems, while juggling multiple projects.
Basic knowledge of web coding languages, such as HTML and CSS would help in the communication with Development and potentially in prototyping.
Potential to take the role in your chosen direction, UX Research, UI Perfection or UX Design as the team expands.
