We are looking for a Developer to join Collinson who has a passion for coding and has experience in .Net and Web API. All we need from you is the willingness to learn and we will develop you into the role.
What does a Developer at Collinson do?
Collaborating with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Project Managers and Delivery teams to translate concept requirements into Technical Specifications and high-quality code.
Developing applications on both legacy and new Technology Platforms, ensuring code is to a high standard and efficiently working between Software, Database and Infrastructure.
Develop Technical Design Documentation, supporting cross-functional Technology Teams to deliver quality products and features that meet User Requirements.
Conduct Testing and Quality Assurance, debugging and resolving any identified issues.
Complete documentation materials for managing the application into support, ensuring it accurately reflects the system’s functionality and ongoing maintenance.
Participate and contribute to Agile planning and design sessions regularly.
Deliver best practices in source code management, using source control tools and processes.
Manage the transition of developed code across environments to ensure it works effectively and efficiently throughout implementation.
Provide reliable estimates to the Scrum Team on allocated projects and work.
Collaborate within the Developer Community to align deliverables, solutions, and operations.
Participate in Peer Code Reviews to improve the quality of Software Development.
Support the Project Team with task objectives, key decisions, risk and issue resolution and Continuous Improvement, contributing to team dynamics and ways of working.
Provide accurate data-driven reports and metrics to Technical and Project leads.

How will you make a difference as a Developer?
Applicants must have a good level of commercial experience as a Developer (specifically in the .NET sphere) ideally gained within a distributed development technology-focused enterprise.
You will have a passion for Microsoft Development Technologies in both Front and Back End systems working across both Agile and structured environments.
Proven capability of building cross-functional relationships within distributed project teams.
A natural problem-solver who can make recommendations working at a pace.
Self-driven and constantly striving to improve Code by working collaboratively.
Knowledge or experience with using any of the following tools and technologies:

C# .NET Core / Framework | Web API | REST | OOP | AWS | Azure | SQL Server | GIT | NUnit | Specflow | CI / CD |TeamCity | Octopus Deploy

Azure / AWS Certification is desirable, or you will be willing to undertake professional certified Cloud training.
