Job Description : Responsibilities· Writing reusable, scalable, testable and efficient code in NodeJs, Express andrelated technologies.· Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performantRESTful API system.· Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with serverside logic using RESTful APIs.· Implementation of security and data protection.· Automation – build and deployment of NodeJs based REST API servers.· Candidate will report to the Principal Architect.Skills and Qualifications· 5 or more years of strong coding proficiency with Node.js, Express and JavaScript.· Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks andworkarounds.· Understanding accessibility and security compliance.· User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, andenvironments.· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.· Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.· Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs.desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.· Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and JIRA.· The candidate should have extremely good communication skills and should beable to drive technical discussions with partners and vendors.Mandatory Skills1.
