We offer full time and part time care to children aged between 3 months and 5 years of age. If you are interested in a career in Early Years/Childcare, and willing to train or have your Level 2 and want to gain your level 3, please forward your CV and availability for interview asap.The JobWe are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic unqualified nursery practitioners to join our private day care setting in Croydon as an apprentice. Often our apprentices go on to stay with us for many years and progress within the setting to senior positions.As a trainee nursery practitioner you are a key member of the nursery team responsible for delivering high quality care and learning opportunities for children, based on the needs and interests of those children. Some of the duties will include:Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.Ensure health and safety and well-being of the children.Support the children’s development, learning and play.Be a key person for a small group of children, carrying out all related responsibilities and building relationships with them and their families.Providing inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating the EYFS.We are looking for unqualified persons with a passion for childcare and willing to train towards your Level 2 and/or 3 Diploma and all necessary academic qualifications alongside (i.e. Maths, English)The following are also desirable: To have worked with under 5’s in a nursery environment.Good written and verbal communication in English.Possess a some knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.Planning skills /experience.Possess a rolling DBSPaediatric First AidSafeguarding ChildrenOther: Salary ranges based upon NMW for apprentice £5.00 —- £6.0040 hours a week 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday-Friday.
