Job Description : NURSERY MANAGERHave you managed a successful nursery before?ORAre you an experienced Deputy Manager looking to become a Nursery Manager?ABOUT US: Thornbury Play & Learn Nursery is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery catering for 2-4 Year Olds offering places for up to 24 children per session.It is located in Bradford East on the Leeds to Bradford corridor.The nursery is open Term Time Only and the Salary is Pro-Rata.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: We are looking for an experienced manager who has the ability to maintain our Ofsted Outstanding rating, working closely with our excellent staff team and has:At least two year’s experience working in an early years setting at a senior level OR has at least two years other relevant experienceNNEB Diploma, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with good Maths & EnglishProven ability to lead and motivate staffApproachable manner with an ability to communicate and negotiate well with parents/carersPassionate about the care of young childrenGood knowledge of the EYFS curriculum & its implementationGood working knowledge of the standards required by OfstedSound knowledge of the SEN code of Practice and its applicationSound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its applicationThorough knowledge of Safeguarding and the ability to be the Designated Safeguarding OfficerExperience of implementing effective child & financial recording systemsStrong organisational skillsExperience in managing budgetsGood IT skillsEnergetic & ambitiousWHAT WE OFFER: Salary is negotiable according to age and experience.We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all sections of the community.We will offer regular support and guidance.We will offer relevant training and learning opportunities to extend your continuing professional development.We are a progressive organisation looking into developing a whole range of community services.
