Job Description : Overhead Costs Analyst

Due to rapid growth within our business, we are now looking to recruit an established and confident Overhead Cost Analyst who has previously worked in a fast-paced team, ensuring standards of accuracy and professionalism.

You will be joining a dynamic team with a strong teamwork ethos where everyone works hard to achieve a shared goal and where no two days are the same.

Based at the company’s head office in Milton Keynes, this is permanent role working within the Financial Controlling team and will work closely with the Financial Accounting & Procurement teams.

Working as the Overhead Costs Analyst your responsibilities will include:

Provide forecast for overheads cost as required by the business based on sound analysis
Support cost improvement projects for overheads while working closely with budget holder
Continuously look to improve utilities contract with our current service provider and benchmark against other providers.
Report findings to Board and other stakeholders.
Support energy cost transformation project across all locations
Continuously seek to improve processes and procedures
Contact various Utility providers to move to main group providers when a new venue is taken on board
Manage utilities queries for all the current & new venues in our estate
First point of contact with our Utilities broker
Assist the Venues & Construction team in obtaining actual meter readings for the entire estate
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-changing environment and will therefore, be expected to undertake other appropriate duties as required

Required Skills
Part Qualified Accountant (AAT Level 3) looking to pursue into ACCA/CIMA
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel including managing high volumes of data & reporting results, issues & action plans
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks through to completion
Excellent communication & negotiation skills with confidence to interact at all levels
A solution orientated approach
High level of attention to detail
