Job description:
An opportunity has arisen for two Pharmacy Services Assistants to join the team at our Bracebridge Heath Pharmacy Pharmacy, working 24 hours per week.
Duties will include, but are not limited to: serving customers, cash handling, dispensing, stock control and keeping the work place tidy. The hours will be split between customer service and dispensary roles.
Candidate Requirements:
The successful applicant will ideally have a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification or equivalent. This qualification is desirable but not essential as we would welcome an application from someone with the desire to train and be sponsored where you will be given support and guidance to help you qualify.
Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
You should have good communication skills, enjoy helping customers and demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality. A good level of education is required with a minimum of GCSE Grade C, or equivalent, in Maths and English. A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks with the ability to explain complicated instructions clearly to customers would also be an advantage for this role.
