Job Description : This is a contract role for 6 months, extendable, offering £250 – £300 (outside IR35). It is for a consulting firm based in Guildford, remote working allowed. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Key Skills:At least 3- to 5-years’ PHP and MVC experience, ideally in Laravel or CodeIgniterA demonstrable understanding of the importance of writing secure codeVery strong SQL knowledgeExperience in version control (GIT), CI processes and build/deploy toolsExperience in all stages of the development lifecycle, from technical design through to code review and unit testingBuilt RESTful and/or SOAP APIs to expose and consume dataAutomated debug and unit test skillsThe Desirables: Ideally, you’ll have experience working with:Vue.js or other JavaScript frameworks*nix administration skills (Ubuntu), including web and mail serversAgile teamsEPOS/till systemsWorking in the hospitality sectorJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryContract length: 6 monthsSalary: £250.00-£300.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:PHP: 5 years (required)Laravel: 5 years (preferred)CodeIgnitor: 5 years (preferred)SQL: 3 years (preferred)JavaScript: 3 years (preferred)Reference ID: SB-PD-001
