Job Description : FullStack Developer – PHP – WordPress – Hybrid working London – £30k-£38k per year

My client is looking for a full-stack developer with extensive experience in building WordPress themes and plugins.
The ideal candidate must be very familiar with industry standards when it comes to developing for WordPress.
The developer must have strong JavaScript, CSS and HTML skills.
Working as part of the dev team you will report directly to the CTO.
You must be a good problem solver, clear communicator, and demonstrate the ability to build web applications from scratch to completion.
We are looking for someone with a high attention to detail, able to test and debug other developer’s code and, most of all, the ability to follow documentation and learn new things quickly.
Ideally we want a candidate with a few years of industry experience, and particularly experience of working on high traffic websites and/or strong trackable experience in performance optimisation.
It would be advantageous to have a good knowledge of online advertising from a technical perspective and ideally with experience of prebid.js and header bidding and/or video advertising (VAST, VPAID, IMA SDK, etc.).

Required Technical Skills
Web languages: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS at expert level.
Server side: Linux, Apache or other good server side architecture knowledge
OOP programming and MVC programming demonstrable experience
Industry Standard Knowledge Required

Gulp/Grunt or equivalent
debugging
Advantageous
Familiarity with Javascript and/or Php frameworks (ReactJS, Twig / Timber)
Forum software experience: Xenforo
Google AMP and Facebook instant article development experience
DevOps skills at least to an intermediate level.
Project & codebase management: Jira, Git, Gulp / Grunt, NPM, etc.
Advertising technologies: Google Ad Manager, Prebid.js
Standards: Better Ads Standards, Core Web Vitals, IAB Standards
Other Skills
Building / managing websites with very high traffic
Knowledge of SEO
