Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school in South Gloucester.
About the role
Starting from April 2022 (asap), you will be working as part of a dynamic and creative team in a primary school. You will be providing PPA cover and general support in all key stages from Early Years to Year 6. Previous experience supporting SEND children is ideal. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm and some lunchtime duties will be needed.

As a large ‘Outstanding’ Primary school, staff go above and beyond to provide outstanding education to young children from Nursery to Year 6.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant you will:
Hold a minimum of a qualification relating to Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
Be experienced in covering lessons in the absence of a teacher
Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions
Possess experience working with SEND children on a 1:1 basis
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Hold a minimum of a qualification relating to Higher Level Teaching Assistant
