DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deployment automation, simplifying self-service and creating transparency around resource utilizationDevOps Engineer (automation) will be responsible for analyzing all deployment/infrastructure related to issues in different stack, stabilizing the infra stacks across engineering and for automating the deployments and upgrade related stuff
Additional responsibilities include:
Build and support automation for deployment of various components of the product ecosystemBuild and support custom tools that facilitate development and QA teamsDeployments and working with Google Cloud and Microsoft AzureAutomating processes using Google API’s with the help of scripting languages (Preferably python)Familiarity with Java build tools – Gradle, Ant, MavenExposure in Agile/Scrum methodology with excellent debugging/troubleshooting skillsSelenium, API testing and understanding RightScale & its configurations related to Google cloud is a plus
QualificationsSoftware development lifecycle experience in a fast-paced environmentAbility to write in multiple languages including Python, Java, Ruby or Bash scriptingKnowledge on Jenkins and ability to write Jenkins Pipeline as codeKnowledge of any configuration management tool (Chef/Puppet/Salt/Ansible or RightScale)Familiarity with any of the Public Cloud providers (AWS or Google Cloud)Experience with messaging/event streaming platforms (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka)Familiarity with different set of Operating System like Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, etc.Hands on development Tools – Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Confluence, VersionOne, Artifactory, Gradle, GruntGood to have knowledge on monitoring tools like Nagios, ELK, Dynatrace or AppDynamics
