PhonePe is India’s leading digital payments platform with over 280 million registered users. Using PhonePe, users can send and receive money, recharge mobile, DTH, data cards, pay at stores, make utility payments, buy gold, and make investments. PhonePe went live for customers in August 2016 and was the first non-banking UPI app and offered money transfer to individuals and merchants, recharges and bill payments to begin with. In 2017, PhonePe forayed into financial services with the launch of digital gold, providing users with a safe and convenient option to buy 24-karat gold securely on its platform. PhonePe has since launched Mutual Funds and Insurance products like tax-saving funds, liquid funds, international travel insurance, Corona Care, a dedicated insurance product for the COVID-19 pandemic among others.
PhonePe launched its Switch platform in 2018, and today its customers can place orders on over 300 apps including Ola, Myntra, IRCTC, Goibibo, RedBus, Oyo etc. directly from within the PhonePe mobile app. PhonePe is accepted at over 18 million merchant outlets across 500 cities nationally.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Drive process improvement & transformational projects on key business problems
Generate business impact through Continual Improvement initiatives
Demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, controls, and related standards
DNA development through training & mentoring functional members to foster Process Excellence Culture
Documentation: Experience in documenting Business Process flows, Creating/Updating Standard Operation Procedures, and documenting business
Consolidation: Providing advice in defining new requirements and opportunities as a result of streamlined process and identified gaps including Organization Charts, Consolidation of functions within and across business units
Process materials: Advice on how company can work on documentation, updating new and existing SOPs and marinating this into training plans within business units.
Controls: Develop controls to avoid any financial impact or any errors, ensuring calibration of processes for audits
Quality: Complete ownership of process compliance to quality standards (ISO, COPC etc.)
Audits: Design Sampling Strategy and regular process quality check audits
Tracking progress and errors: Complete ownership of customer comebacks for teams and identify opportunities to track errors for each process related activity
Training: Drive best practice/idea sharing, and train team on various quality tools
Financial Impact: Identify savings to the company through various projects / Standardization of process
Experience/Educational Qualifications:
Graduate/Post Graduate degree
10+ Years of overall experience with minimum of 5+ years of experience in Process Excellence/Black Belt role
Experience of managing large scale change initiatives
Experience in managing quality & training will be an added advantage
Minitab Proficiency
Advanced Excel
Required Skills:
Lean and Six Sigma Certification required
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
Experience in managing quality & training will be an added advantage
Have a good understanding of Intelligent process automation and analytics
Business Foresight Ability to strategize and demonstrate deep business insight that helps identify & develop strategic opportunities
