Product Architect – HBT
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading the product architecture for Building technology product line. The key areas of responsibilities include
Able to create a system architecture for IOT devices covering Hardware, software & Firmware aspects. Software architecture spanning across Microsoft technologies like Dot Net, C#, Azure etc. Hardware architecture spanning analog design, power supply considerations; peripherals including I/Os, display, interfaces etc. Firmware architecture spanning across various protocols, bare metal programming.
Need to plan the product features & offerings encompassing hardware, software, firmware, mobile app, web app, certifications, security, enclosures, UI/UX paths etc.
3. Understand the design patterns and tear down analysis of competition product lines.
4. Ability to select the right components and evaluate alternate options to build the product well within product cost targets.
5. Has good experience in understanding the customer requirements in the building technologies domain and has experience in deployment of some of these product lines in customer location and understand the user needs and experience.
6. Agile development practices, DevOps, and standardization of practices with appropriate tools / dashboards / metrics.
7. Ability to work with other product architects in the building domain and apply platform and reuse of the existing architecture for faster time to market.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or master’s in engineering / Math / Science / Computers, with 8+ Yrs. of experience
3-4 yrs. in product design and architecture experience spanning across Microsoft technologies or other technologies like Dot Net, C#, Azure, AWS etc.
Experience of working for local for local product lines with good interactions with customers, marketing team, ISC team and technical support team will be appreciated.
Minimum experience of leading the architecture for 2 products from requirements to deployment.
Has experience of designing the product line with on premise and cloud-based application.
1-2 years’ experience in application of data analytical models for any product lines, will be preferable.
Experience of working across 3-4 product lines with teams of mechanical, firmware, hardware and software application with a project team size of 15-20 people.
Experience with Cyber security & certification will be advantage.
