Job Description
As a Creative Producer on the Studio production team you manage the development and distribution of image assets depicting more than twenty software products across multiple locales and languages. Your communication skills and your detail management are your greatest assets as you identify needs, collaborate with partners across the organization to get the details right, and delegate to a team of production designers to build your final deliverables.
You Will:
Produce demand generation video, display, and landing page assets as an essential voice for Square hardware and software throughout creative development and production
Partner with video producers to review video assets weekly with a goal of ensuring accuracy and authenticity of product usage.
Communicate directly with product marketing managers, product designers, globalization ops partners, international marketing managers, international product managers, legal, and any other partner that can help you get the details right.
Work with digital production designers (who build screen assets), retouchers and editors (who place them into photographs and videos), and asset management (to house and share completed assets)
Partner with designers, project and program managers to scope marketing screen asset needs for demand generation projects across web, print, digital ads, and more.
Build schedules and run meetings to keep teams on task, following each meeting with clear notes and next steps.
Manage content details for each screen asset: UI text, fictitious merchant/customer information, photography, transactions, etc.
Manage translations and other changes across locales (currency, prices, taxes, plus variances in product due to regulations or roadmap).
Create and distribute accessible toolkits of grab-and-go assets to enable creative work at scale (UI libraries, product photography, locale-specific collections, etc.)
Build resources and processes to expedite creation of marketing deliverables
Juggle a mix of large and small projects, often with overlapping importance and urgency.
Manage work tasks and communication across time zones using Email, Frame.io, Asana, JIRA, Slack, Google Docs, and tools we haven’t started using yet.
Ship quickly. Find new efficiencies. Keep an eye on the small stuff. Write it down for next time. Make it work.
Qualifications
You Have:
Solid working experience (minimum 2 years) managing the creation of production-ready assets for digital mediums.
Skill at managing details of ever-increasing complexity and scale.
Experience using project management software (Asana, JIRA, Workfront, Trello, etc.)
Experience building processes, documentation and training content for internal and external partners
An ability to communicate clearly with peers and across disciplines.
An eagerness to try (and adopt) new applications and working methods.
A dedication to delivering great work
Even Better:
Experience managing software UI assets for marketing
Experience managing projects across languages and locales
Experience developing instructional decks and production resources
Experience building and managing graphically-engaging documents, spreadsheets or overviews for project management (in Google Suite, Notion, Figma, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Hands-on production design or graphic design skills (Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, etc.)
Familiarity with photo and / or video production flow
