About the role
Our Autism & Mental Health Services Project team have an exciting new opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, a tertiary education qualification (or currently studying towards) in a related field such as Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work, and experience in managing, collating and analysing qualitative data to help build the capacity of mainstream mental health professionals to better understand and support people on the autism spectrum.
The Evaluation Assistant will work collaboratively as part our leading multi-disciplinary project team and be responsible for creating and conducting research & evaluations to facilitate the development and roll-out of the Autism and Mental Health Services Project training packages and resources.
Fixed-term part-time opportunity available for 3 days per week, with possibility for extension beyond February 2023.

Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Social Work)
Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology
Experience in managing, collating and analysing qualitative and descriptive data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to conduct interviews with a range of stakeholders including people on the autism spectrum
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs and survey development and collection tools
Highly-regarded
Demonstrated experience in research (e.g., Honours Degree involving research)
Professional experience in the field of Autism and/or Mental Health

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card (paid workers)**
Provide First Aid inc. Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate
