Purpose of the role
The candidate is part of E2E QA team. The candidate will work as a Data manager and as a functional QA Engineer. His activities are data management/implementation and functional tests as main activities and doing support in designing, maintaining QA Automation Suites to secure the markets we are responsible for. He is multi-skills and plays a key role inside EVP organization. He maintains the test systems with the proper configurations for functional team to test. Analyze the product and configurations, understands the required setup for product activations. He is involved in requirement understanding, Test plan design, validation, and signoff of change requests. He/She should address the issues raising IR/PTRs. The candidate should have good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills and in his/her capacity, he/she will have to interact with cross-functional teams spread over the world
Main responsibilities
Functional / black box testing of our Product as part of our Regression and Release test campaigns. Should contribute to Test Strategy & overall approach to Functional, Integration, E2E, Regression & UAT testing. Organize meeting with the different team to determine the configuration, set-up, methods and tools needed to help the QAE to perform their system and end to end tests.Collaborate with R&D for the environment and configurations set-up
Follow-up of defects opened during the test validation for what concern configuration and set-up.Strong communication skills / influencing / helping your peer team members or other Agile Scrum / Kanban teams and with dependent stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from your ScrumMaster/ Kanban Facilitator / Manager. Should be a good team player and help other team members to achieve goals collectively. Quick learner on new technologies and have critical thinking abilities while designing the test scenarios
Accountable for Data Management and Maintenance activities, starting from product activation/implementation. Ensure correct & appropriate Data is available for Quality Engineer to perform their tests successfully
Will be part of implementation activities and contribute for the product configurations as well.Ensure that, upon new or enhanced development of Sell connect or any development performed by TCH delivery, the new version will be tested in the eco system of the main customers/market.You will help to provide data expertise necessary for customer product activations, data updates in test environment, operational support to Quality Engineer and customers UAT so that the Quality engineer will test in the environment as close as possible to the customer
Qualification
University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
ISTQB certification is a plus
Experience in an agile methodology and understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards
Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or development
Working experience in travel industry, airline company appreciated
Should possess strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, standards and processes
Should be cued to the latest tools and approaches in the QA field
Expeirence in data management, test systsem configurations and maintenance would be advantage
Should have first-hand experience in deriving and executing complex functional end to end scenarios
Should have experience in reporting and communicating on test activities to the line organization
Should have strong experience in logs analysis of different application component
Automation experience is plus
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
