We are looking for Senior Test Engineer (QAOps Engineer) who can write and manage automation tests in Cypress and Selenium and should be able to develop Infrastructure-as-code solutions for the automation frameworks and manage the CI/CD pipelines in prominent Git platforms. The engineer working on the said role would be responsible to work on prominent testing technologies of UI and integration testing. A flexible and lean Test Automation approach with an aim to deliver a high-quality Product in a faster time. Focuses on best quality practices to be followed by a lean Engineering team and work towards a defined success criteria by progressing with the team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience OF Automation.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on developing solutions
Plays a key role in building/maintaining the test infrastructure of the team/product and is responsible for fulfilling the established Automation strategy.
Ensures comprehensive test coverage exists based on business requirements and design specifications.
Monitors the performance, reliability and completeness of automated tests.
Reviews and prioritizes test cases based on a deep understanding of business use cases and their importance.
Identify strong and weak points in existing test environments and improve overall test environment quality.
Sets quality standards for the overall Automation work. Researches, validates and makes improvements in the Automation process and practices.
Acts as a resource for others at peer or above level; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on developing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Explains complex, difficult and/or sensitive information; works to build consensus Influence software design to maximize usability, testability, and automation potential by representing the ‘customer’ when testing a feature, suggest improvements when appropriate
Work on engineering excellence items like implementing CI/CV and implementing new frameworks
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews

Required Skills:

Strong in Quality Assurance and always ready to experiment and learn new technologies.
Understanding on software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and practices
Working experience in on working with Selenium. Experience with Java for Selenium would be plus.
Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills.
Experience in Java build management tools like Maven and Gradle.
Knowledge on Cypress Automation tool. Working experience on Cypress would be a plus.
Knowledge on JavaScript with ES6 syntax.
Knowledge on ReactJS/ExtJS would be a plus.
Strong knowledge on REST API’s and testing them using any framework.
Working experience on docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge on IaC (Infrastructure as a code) tools and can understand how they are used.
Experience in IaC automation tools like Ansible/Chef would be a plus
Experience with tools like GIT and TeamCity
Experience with CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment/Continuous Testing)
Worked as part of a Scrum team and understand Agile methodologies
Good to have experience in SAFe Agile methodologies/processes.
Ability to learn new technologies independently
Positive attitude towards continuous improvement
