Job Description : Main Role / Job Objective :
The candidate will be responsible for assuring the quality of the software by installing structured, traceable, and productive quality assurance processes and coordinate the quality assurance tasks within the team.

Qualifications and professional knowledge:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. (8+years of experience)
Excellent understanding of automation frameworks, methodology, best practices, protocols.
Experience developing and maintaining test suites through formal methods of test design to ensure optimal test coverage.
Test automation of products developed in C++, Java and Web technology using tools like Squish, Sahi, Selenium, etc.,
Scripting languages like Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.,
Defect tracking and use of test management tools
Strong technical skills to mentor and guide the team members on creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
Solid verbal and written communication skills, able to take decisions even under pressure and able to set up the right culture in a team
Result-oriented with strong self-management skills.
Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn new technologies
Background or knowledge of the Print Industry is an asset
Experience in people management is an asset

Main responsibilities and key activities:
Leads, acknowledges, develops, communicates & implements a strategy to ensure compliance.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency.
Design & Build test harnesses for Automation testing for GUI, Web services and Application reports.
Implement QA process and automated testing for all the workstreams to improve the overall testing cycle.
Maintain Automation code based on series of new builds on applications.
Drive Quality Assurance process improvement
Improve test methodology, tools, and infrastructure to come to a structured, traceable, and productive QA process.
QA project management
Review user stories and technical specifications and work with QA engineers to create test plans
Make overall capacity planning
Track execution of the QA tasks and define corrective measures to minimize deviation from plan
Clear and concise reporting of QA status of project (test coverage, progress, prioritized list of open issues and defects)
Responsible for product pre-release programs including training and support in coordination with Global Support
Maintenance of Hardware and Software test infrastructure
Liaison with remote teams
Help creating, implementing, executing, and guarding optimized processes, policies and procedures

Guarantee quality of software by decreasing the number of bugs and needed corrections and increasing the user experience of the software
Creating and implementing quality assurance processes
Optimize the planning of QA tasks within the team
