Responsibilities include:
Understanding Qlik’s in-memory data discovery architecture and advocate and communicate adherence to Qlik’s best-practices and standards
Providing hands-on assistance with provisioning secure Qlik environments for clients on premise and cloud-based platforms
Solving client technical issues and/or coaching client technical staff on their projects
Providing hands-on expert level assistance to clients and colleagues for technical issues and knowledge transfer
Creating technical architecture documents and diagrams
Qualification include:
B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
5-7 Years implementing and managing complex Qlik Environments.
Deep Technical Experience in QlikView and QlikSense
Ability to Design, Scale and implement multi-node Qlik Environments.
Strong client-facing consultative skills
Ability to organize and lead client sessions that involve non-technical resources, creating requirements and architecture/technical designs
Experience with Windows Server architecture – W2012R2, W2016, W2019 and IIS, administration, Security, Infrastructure management, and performance investigation and tuning
Experienced with server hardware selection, architecture and troubleshooting
Hands on experience designing and deploying complex Qlik solutions in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or other cloud providers
Demonstrated abilities with SSO-related software such as ADFS, SiteMinder, OpenSSO, Auth0, Okta or other SAML & OpenID Connect providers
Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools like JMeter and LoadRunner
Understanding of High Availability and Networked Storage solutions including Clustering, Failover and Disaster Recovery products and concepts such as MS Clustering Services, Load Balancing, Routers, LUNS, SAN and NAS
Excellent presentation and communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop and present processes and methodologies
An outgoing, focused and organized individual, with a strong drive to succeed
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to succeed in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge and experience with a range of Business Intelligence tools
Desired Experience / Skills:
Demonstrated experience with web application security and concepts, such as Ticketing, header injection, XSS, SSL, HTTPS, Kerberos, certificates, Active Directory, and LDAP, reverse proxies and firewalls
Knowledge of extranet architectures such as DMZ, Ports, and Vlans
Deployment automation and scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash and other scripting languages
Knowledge of web software/development such as JavaScript, ASP, AJAX, Apache and Web Services
Understanding of application layer protocols, such as HTTP/S, TCP/IP, UDP and Web sockets
Knowledge of Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) tools
Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP (e.g. Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP R/3).
Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Hadoop, and others Scala
