Job Description and Requirements
Synopsys is looking for an engineer to join their ICC2 product development team. The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:
1. An engineering degree preferably in CS/ECE/EE from a reputed college with high CGPA/ score. Preference will be given to candidates with Masters or PhD degrees.
2. About 10 years of experience with hands on coding in C, C++ in a product development environment on Linux.
3. Familiarity with basic digital electronics is necessary for the job.
4. Familiarity with EDA or design tools will be added advantage.
5. Familiarity with Linux development tools – vi, emacs, gcc, gdb, Makefile etc.
6. Familiarity with configuration management tools like perforce or cvs.
7. Familiarity with performance measuring tools like Valgrind, Gprof etc.
8. The candidate must be self motivated and willing to work as a standalone resource in a team.
