RESIDENTIAL YOUTH WORK – ROCKHAMPTON GLADSTONE
Edmen Community Staffing Solutions is excited to announce that we are currently looking for experienced Residential Youth Workers in the Rockhampton area to provide support to young people in residential care.

What we are looking for:
Demonstrated experience in the space (or in the community services sector) or willing to upskill
Have knowledge of trauma and how it affects the development and behaviours of young people
Hold (or currently studying) a minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or relevant qualification
Able to work a variety of morning, afternoon and active night shifts (including emergency/on call work/24hr)
Hold a current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 (within the past 3 years)
Hold a current CPR Certificate HLTAID001 (within 1 year)
Hold a current Drivers Licence and your own reliable vehicle
Hold a current Blue Card or willing to obtain
Desirable:
Hope and Healing Certificate
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trained
Youth Mental Health First Aid
An understanding of trauma and attachment theories and the resulting behaviours likely to be demonstrated by our young people
Experience working with Indigenous and CALD clients
