Job Description : Summary of the role
Part of the Digital Customer Engagement department within the Digital Business Solution division, the Salesforce Platform Team is responsible for all activities linked to Sales applications that support commercial units of Amadeus.
In a context with multiple Salesforce instances and increasing demands around digitalization of services, you will join a dynamic team of passionate professionals with a challenging roadmap, a rich portfolio of Products and great opportunities to grow in Salesforce Ecosystem.
The Salesforce Lead Developer will work with commercial units of Amadeus, developing & delivering solutions that support Amadeus evolution and services digitalization on Salesforce Platform, applying development best practices & following Amadeus policies.
Your main responsibilities
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products;
Provide estimates of the level of effort to implement a solution based on business requirements
Work with business stakeholders/BA to gather technical requirements and based on that derive technical requirements complete technical gap analysis and create technical design documents.
Drive the design, development and support of Salesforce solutions, employing best practices in architecture, design, development and deployment.
Be able to perform Salesforce implementations including:
Development of custom solutions and integrations using Salesforce development skills (Apex, LWC, LC) & declarative solutions (Flow, Process Builders)
Stay current with the periodic Salesforce releases and leverage the updates applicable to the ORG.
Create and maintain Visualforce pages.
Configure Salesforce.com and Integrate with 3rd party tools as needed.
Work with other technology teams in order to facilitate interfaces between Salesforce.com and other systems.
About the ideal candidate
University degree in Scientific studies, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of Salesforce experience with the last 2-3+ years as a Technical Lead / Lead Developer
3+ years Hands-on Lightning, Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS development experience
2+ years Web Services development or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Bulk, etc.)
Strong understanding of the core Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud)
Relevant experience implementing Sales Cloud and PRM (Partner Communities) solutions
Strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce development, configuration, and administration capabilities (Flow, Process Builders, Lightning)
Hands-on experience in Salesforce integration with large applications End to End
Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (Heroku, DellBoomi, ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)
Strong understanding of environment management, org strategy, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
Strong capability in converting Business requirements in Technical Work and perform end to end design.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
Excellent client-facing written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Active Salesforce certifications Application or System Architect – other certifications is a plus
Salesforce Development – Ability to develop solutions using Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS programing languages.
Salesforce Administration – Ability to implement solutions using Salesforce declarative options: flow, process builders, validation rules, as well as other Administration activities.
Functional Specification – Ability to write the documentation that describes what the requestor expects of an engineering system. The documentation typically describes what is needed by the system user as well as requested properties of inputs and outputs. Includes: specifications, High Level Design documents, interfaces documentation.
Functional Test – Ability to test new functionalities or fixes
Product Development Life Cycle – The understanding of AGILE SCRUM methodology and related ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Refinement.
Analytical Thinking – Ability to use a methodical step-by-step approach to break down complex problems or processes into their constituents’ parts, identify causes and effects patterns and analyze problems to arrive to an appropriate solution
Communication Basics – Ability to:Express ideas and opinions clearly, define messages and reach a common understanding of issues, addressing the audience effectivelyProduce oral and written communications which are clear, fluent and conciseHold the attention of others, both in a group and in one to one situationsListen patiently and carefully to input and feedbackDeliver basic presentations
Creativity – Ability to develop new customer value through solutions, processes that meet new needs or existing customer/market needs in new ways
