Job Description : Performs penetration testing and attack simulations on business critical infrastructure including internal servers, networks and applications to identify and resolve security flaws.

Performs vulnerability scanning, basic penetration testing and attack simulations on directed sections of the test scope using established technologies & tools.

Executes tests of small features and low complexity with a mentor.

Builds automation for individual tests; such as developing scripts or proof of concept exploits.

Actively participate in education; investigate an area of vulnerability testing, apply methodology and presents test cases to their peers/managers/mentors.

Point testing that is reviewed.

Contributes to the threat assessment reports that outline penetration test findings.

Minimum 2 years combined experience from at least one of the following: security testing, systems development, systems administration, network administration, scripting, and security testing automation required.

Preferred but not required qualifications include:

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Security or Computer Engineering.

Working towards relevant industry certifications such as OSCP/ CREST CRT, CREST CCT Inf/App, OSCE, CISSP, GSEC, GPEN, GCFW, GWAPT, GAWN or equivalent.
