Job Description : Position Description:
Role – SIEM admin

Experience – 4-6 Years
Skillset – L2

1. Manage, configure and support SIEM solution
2. Provide 24/7 SIEM monitoring via the SOC performing analysis, and escalations as required
3. Establish security audit policies
4. Maintain log files in accordance with Foresters policies and service levels
5. Provide periodic reports to list failed audit components
6. Review periodic audit reports
7. Identify, by system, failed components of the applicable security audit configuration
8. Define Middleware procedures to meet security policy and standards.
9. Configure Middleware system to conform to security policy, standards and procedures.
10. Define methodologies for certification and accreditation of Middleware systems.
11. Perform independent internal security review for certification and accreditation of Middleware systems.
12. Review and sign off security assessments and reviews.
13. Implement and administer appropriate Middleware security tools, such as logging, across defined production Middleware instances. Audit logs must be available for reporting as per Foresters’ Security Policy.
14. Perform internal security evaluations on Middleware system changes on a billable Project basis subject to Change Control Process. (i.e. new install, upgrades, fixes and changes).
15. Perform security patch analysis with regards to security related fixes and vulnerabilities as it pertains to Middleware.
16. Monitor and report on security related Incidents as per Foresters Policy.
17. Review and sign off security reports.
Manage and cleanup of audit trails and logs.

Additionally
1 Splunk, Rapid 7 insight IDR , Netwitness SME Knowledge of Architecture planning, Infrastructure designing deployment
2: Experience developing enterprise strategic implementation of Splunk, Rapid 7 insight IDR , Netwitness in large scale
3: Administer a globally distributed and heterogeneous Shared Service environment
4 Knowledge on Automation app, deployment to multiple sites, Monitoring the central infrastructure
Strong experience working in Splunk, Rapid 7 insight IDR , & Netwitness- SIEM
5: Incident handling skills, use case management by building correlation search in Splunk, Rapid 7 insight IDR & Netwitness- SIEM Enterprise Security and risk assessment.
6: Security Analytics skills is added advantage
7: IT Security Experience

8: Good knowledge building advanced Splunk, Rapid 7 insight IDR , Netwitness SPL Queries exposure to cloud Security/Infra Security
9 Should have Experience on Building Response Plan for Security Incidents
Good verbal communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization methods
10; Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little or no supervision
Educational Qualification: Bachelor or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience
