Job Description : We are currently working with a highly regarded and sought-after special needs school in Barnet. They are a school who specialise in working with children and young adults diagnosed with Autistic spectrum condition and in many cases, additional learning needs. This ranges from offering care and support to service users with Severe learning difficulties and physical impairments, sensory impairments and speech and language difficulties. They also support high functioning young people who need support in their social development, regulating emotions and academic support.
You will also get the chance to be part of a successful, supportive and friendly team who are passionate about the care and education of the young people with autism.
We are looking for people who have some experience in working with autism or the drive, passion and personality to inspire those with additional needs and willingness to learn and take on new skills, whist being pro-active and self-motivated.
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
