Job Description : One of the largest saw-manufacturer firms in South Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper who can join their team.Location: Dinnington (near Sheffield)Responsibilities: – Bank reconciliation to all accounts.- Processing payments to British and foreign suppliers.- Preparing and finalizing expense reports, processing payments.- Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger, posting invoices, reconciling supplier statements.- Complete sales & purchase month-ends.- Preparing monthly payroll reports, collating and reconciling payroll journals.- Preparing monthly journals for depreciation, accruals and prepayments.- Preparing monthly management accounts.- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT-returns.- Finalizing the YE accounts and liaising with an outsourced accounting firm.- Dealing with ad hoc paperwork and other admin matters.Requirements: – MAAT qualification and/or part-qualified ACCA.- Proven track-record of monthly-management account preparation.- Pro-active and solution-focused attitude.- Ability to work independently and within a team.What we offer: – This is a great opportunity for already experienced accountants to further progress in their careers.- Benefits including free on-site parking.- Monday – Friday 35 Hours per week.- 25 Days holiday per year + bank holidays.- Salary starting at £30,000/annum, TBD.- Part-time candidates are also considered.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £30,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:accounting: 1 year (preferred)Reference ID: Accountant/Bookkeeper
