Job Description:
Work closely with the IT Team on new development of HVAC Engineering applications, tools & data migration for support, and sustaining work on building/HVAC/field data tools.
Work with Functional Lead and provide technical support during design and development
Provide system support to troubleshoot any issues in installation and configuration
Participate in requirements, design and code reviews.
Learn and understand all Lennox International Engineering applications thoroughly
Must be able to multitask as multiple testing efforts run in parallel
Work well with limited supervision, and report status to Test Lead and/or QA/Project Manager
Able to analyze logs & investigate the issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
HVAC Industry experience added advantage
Five (3) to seven (5) Hands on experience in one or more of the following development language: C,C++, Java, .Net (C# or VB .NET)
SQL database design & programming
Small size or mid size project management experience added advantage
Five (3) to seven (5) years experience and in-depth knowledge of writing test plans and test cases, tracking defects, tracking resolution, and reporting status.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision
Ability to follow all relevant IT standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
Excellent written, verbal and web communication skills
