Job Description : About Urban Company: Home services is a large, unorganized industry in India. Indian consumers spend ~ USD 30 Billion annually on home services. They largely rely on word of mouth and friends-family recommendations for search and discovery. There is no large, well run, billion-dollar Company in this category today. The industry lacks scale benefits – standardization, transparency and trust.In the absence of organized players, the current market architecture is froth with middle-men and aggregators, who control market access and keep a lion’s share of the margins. As a result, experiences are broken for both customers and end service professionals. The industry could easily be 1.5-2x larger than it is today, if frictions in transaction journeys are removed – and experiences made more meaningful and memorable*What are you expected to do?*Planning and strategizing content for certain social media channels of Urban Company to drive traffic, engagement and brand awareness. These channels effectively include Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Facebook.Ability to write crisp copy and ideation is core to this role.Executing the strategy by ensuring creation of content (video, still imagery, statics, animation and others) that best utilizes the respective platform, flawless captions, timely posting and maximum reach of content.Working closely with the business teams and other marketing functions to align on business goals and campaigns.Finding new and exciting ways to engage audiences and staying up-to-date with new and shifting trends and social media algorithms to leverage the same for the respective platforms.Measuring and analyzing performance and making both real-time and long-term recommendations for channel optimisation.*What are we looking for?*3-4 years of work experience in social media marketing, including strategy and planning.Proven track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics and experience in executing large-scale social media campaigns.Experience in collaborating and networking with other stakeholders.Focused and goal-oriented.High degree of fluency in verbal and written English language and communication skills.While this role involves an element of strategizing, we expect candidates to have an ear to the ground, get their hands dirty, and solve real problems.If deep problem solving at scale, and a fast-paced work environment excites you, we would love to meet you and talk more!Job Type: Full-time
