Job Description : We are currently looking to recruit a Night Senior Care Assistant in Skelmersdale to provide person-centred support to our residents.

This is a part-time, permanent position and you will be expected to work a six week rota including bank holidays, if this falls on the weekend you are working. The hours will be 21:30 pm – 8:30 am.
Week 1: Thursday, Friday
Week 4: Monday, Tuesday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Week 5: Sunday, Monday, Saturday

Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday
Week 6: Sunday, Friday, Saturday

You will have an important role within our team where you will be supporting, advising and mentoring our Care Assistants to develop their skills and knowledge, whilst also assisting our Managers. We welcome applications from all sections of the community. In return, we will make sure we provide and pay for your training, disclosure and barring service (DBS) application and uniform.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). Please note that the salary quoted is full time equivalent and if successful the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis. The hourly rate, however, is £9.81. In addition, enhanced rates of pay will be paid for night, weekend and bank holiday working.
