We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a newly formed and growing data operations team to help drive the data-driven vision of the customer adoption & renewals organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and create the semantic data layer for our Purchase to value customer lifecycle. You will design, develop and maintain data pieplines, integrate with new technologies, and oversee the development of new data managed processes that support key customer facing functions. Delivery from this team will be based on DevOps model where it is not only about delivering business value but also about reliability, agility and scalabitly.

Your Responsibilities
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
Build Data systems & pipelines to assemble large complex datasets that meet business requirements.
Optimize data delivery and re-design for scalability
Combine raw information from different sources
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into business trends, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs
Demonstrate strong functional and technical knowledge on Informatica products including architecture, design and implementation.
Develop a strong understanding of business processes for functions such as Customer Support, customer success, renewals to deliver business needs..
Collaborate with Business, Architects Data Scientists and Application teams to design and build robust large scale data applications.
Develop various data visualizations, Reports and Dashboards to provide insights for the Management team.
Translate the functional requirements to high level design and build technical specifications document.
Your Qualifications:
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
Hands-on experience with SQL database design
3-5 years of experience in Informatica Products like Big Data Management, Powercenter, Power Exchange, Data Quality, Informatica Cloud.
3-5 years of experience in large scale data processing in Hadoop Environment (Data Lake, Cloudera CDH 5.x, Hive, HBase, Impala, Spark SQL, Spark, Kafka, Oracle).
3-5 years of experience in developing interactive data visualizations using Tableau, D3, Microstrategy and other visualization tools.
Solid understanding in Data Modelling, DataWarehousing and reporting solutions.
Strong understanding of relational databases like Oracle, Sqlserver, MySQL. Good working knowledge on NoSql Databases like Elasticsearch, Mongo DB, Cassandra.
Able to work effectively independently, and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making.
Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
