Job Description : Location: PuneQualification: B.E.( Mechanical)Experience: 5 – 10 YearsJob Responsibilities: Candidate will be required to work as a Sr. Design Engineer / Associate Team Lead within the Project Delivery TeamThe candidate will be responsible for the following activities:Electrical Designing, Detailing and Installation/Commissioning of Equipment/SPM/Production Line for the Manufacturing SegmentField Verifications, Installation, and Commissioning at SiteLeading multiple project tasks independently or along with a team to execute the complete projectDeveloping scopes of work, assumptions, clarifications, and man-hour estimates in response to Requests for ProposalsAssuring Technical Accuracy and Quality of all the work performed in the Electrical PracticeDeveloping Design StandardsReviewing Calculation Methods to assure that they comply with the regulatory and project related requirementsPreparing, reviewing, and / or interpreting Drawings, Specifications, and Customer SubmittalsResponding to the client’s questions and comments; and monitoring and resolving Client’s issuesPerforming Field Verifications and Evaluations of existing Components / Systems relative to Condition / Upgrade Capacity and Drawing ComplianceDeveloping detailed project plans to track progress effectivelyPerforming Risk Management activities to minimize project related risksWorking on Project Documentations with strict adherence to Quality and ISO ProcessesEnsuring error free design output related to various deliverablesChecking team members work / drawings before delivering the same to the client, if neededFollowing instructions as prescribed by the Project LeadWorking with different discipline / stakeholders of a project, for getting exact information required to execute various tasksProviding information / project status reports to the Project LeadProducing necessary Design Reports and Documentation, Project Status ReportPreparing meeting MOMs and publishing the same to all the required stakeholdersDeveloping new area of Expertise within the team for new area of opportunitiesBackground and Skills: Candidate should have prior experience of:Working as a Design Engineer / Lead Engineer in the Manufacturing / Converting Service Industry segmentWorking in the Paper / Personal Hygiene Industry (candidate with this experience will be preferred)Design and Detailing of SPM and Production Line Equipment (hands-on experience is essential)Working on Machine Design Projects of various Systems involved in a Production LineConventional and Modern Manufacturing best practicesDesigning Vacuum Conveyor and Vacuum Conveying Systems, Rotary Equipments and Line SimulationIntegrating Machines with various Plant UtilitiesWorking with DIN, ANSI and ISO Standards (desirable)Working on 3D Software such SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Inventor, UG-NX and Pro-EWorking on AutoCAD Software and MS Office Products (hands-on experience is essential)On-site Installation and Commissioning (should have performed at least one site commissioning, independently)Working with International Clients on various International ProjectsSetting-up Projects (WBS, Standards, Guidelines, Checklist, etc.)Working in a Multi-disciplinary Projects Environment with tools such as MS ProjectsWorking on all the necessary Design Reports and Documentation, Project Status Reports and MOMs for further publishingWork Planning through Work Breakdown StructureComplete Project Life Cycle starting from Request (RFQ) from the client to Commissioning of the ProjectDesigning Packaging Equipment (primary, secondary and tertiary) Interface with the main MachineWorking on Productivity Improvement / Performance Upgrade ProjectsWorking extensively on Pick and Place SystemsPneumatic and Hydraulic Circuit Designing and Sizing of ComponentsDesigning the Architecture of Servo Motor Axes along with their Sizing and SelectionCandidate with a prior Project Management experience will be preferredCandidate should have knowledge related to all the plant level requirements including Power Utility, HVAC, Housekeeping, Machine Waste Management and Waste Water TreatmentHe / she should have sound knowledge of Unwind and Rewinds along with their detailed operationHe / she should be innovative, with an out of box thinking for implementing new ideasHe / she should be team player, and should have excellent verbal and written communication skillsCandidate should flexible to work with different Projects / Teams / Software, etc.Please send your resume to careers@neilsoft.com with the job code in the subject line.Share the pageemailfacebooktwitterlinkedinpinterestJob Type: Full-time
