Summary
As part of the SAP Sales Cloud Engineering team (https://cx.sap.com/en/products/sales), we are committed to delivering best-in-class and leading-edge Cloud-based CRM solutions designed to meet line-of-business needs. We provide appealing products combining software, configuration, and customizing tools with a rich user experience, integrating emerging trends such as the use of Social Media and mobile devices for interaction with consumers.
The Team
Within CX Sales and Service Cloud, the team primarily works on Data Workbench and REST API Framework. Data Workbench is a Mass Data Management tool used to migrate data of the new customers during onboarding and day-to-day data management operations such as Insert, Update, Export and Delete large volumes of data from or to CX Sales and Service Cloud.
REST API Framework provides a set of tools and runtime to develop new REST API, extend them and also execute them. The tools are used by both Application Developers at SAP and also by Key users of our customers. The REST APIs thus developed are used by the partners to build custom applications and integrations with other systems. Both REST API and Data Workbench together contribute to billions of records being exported and manipulated each year by our customers.

Role
To strengthen our Team, we are looking for a Senior Developer with experience in Java and Spring Boot to deliver new innovations.
We also expect you to support the current solution offerings as we continue supporting our existing customers across the globe without any disruption.

You as a developer will work in an innovative Cloud environment and be part of a highly motivated agile development team and would work end to end from designing, implementing, quality assurance, to maintaining complex software.
Role Requirements:
Work as a Senior developer to design and develop a state-of-the-art software application in Java and Spring Boot development environment. The key focus is on product requirements, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of product features.
Design and architect end-to-end solutions
Perform development tasks in a self-reliant way, on time, and in quality, and be a go-to person in the team.
Work closely with all stakeholders – Product Owner, fellow Developers, Architect, Quality Engineers to achieve effective and high-quality product feature delivery.
Apply clean code principles: Unit testing, code reviews, code inspections, security checks, performance measurements, automation, and other quality tasks.
Work collaboratively in co-located and cross-located teams.
7-12 years of development experience in Java and Spring Boot
Must have: Experience in Test Driven Development
Must have: Experience in consuming REST APIs
Must have: Excellent technical communication skills i.e. effectively communicate design and solutions to the teams

Apache Maven
JavaScript
Micro Services Architecture, Kubernetes, Dockers, etc.
Database (MongoDB, Postgres)
Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
B.Tech./ M.Tech./ MCA degree with an aggregate score of 65% or above from a premier institute
