Job Description : About the team:
Cvent is undergoing a cloud transition, with the Cloud Automation team at the helm. We’re in charge of the design, implementation, and upkeep of various cloud automation systems used by Cvent’s Technology team to deliver Cvent products to customers.
Cvent, like every other fast-growing SaaS company that uses AWS, faces a slew of challenges in cloud operations, including maximizing all of AWS’s advantages while maintaining security and cost-effectiveness. The Cloud Automation team develops tools that allow more than 1400 technology employees to use the cloud on a daily basis in a consistent, cost-effective, and reliable manner without compromising cloud speed, agility, or elasticity.
What you will be doing:
Admin and support Cloud Operation for Cvent product and services.Participate in process definition and implementation for automating BAU activities, develop pipelines for IAC development and deployment .Additionally, be actively involved in design, pre-grooming, grooming & requirement discussion sessions.Translate business needs into technical requirements, including architecture and design specifications.Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve solutions/processes that feed modern tools stack onboarding, adoption and foster data-driven decision-making across the organization for tools rationalization.Prepare technical design documents ,identify design patterns and concerns, proposes/compares technical approaches, reviews code, and tests & implements solutions.Provide on-call operational support.Onboard Cvent products as per directed roadmap.
What you will need for this position:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer science, CIS, or related field3-6 years of professional experience supporting Cloud Operations in AWS, Supporting Hosted infrastructure.3+ years of professional experience develop infra as code applications using AWS CDK. AWS cloud formation Templates.Must have understanding on Yaml and JSON data structures.Must have understanding on system design engineering including security applications.3+ years of experience of working in a team and supporting major initiatives.Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services. AWS certification is preferred.Good understanding of DevOps and build tools such as Maven, Jenkins and deployment pipelines.Experience with Docker and microservices, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, pnpm, npm, application security, OWASP concepts. Best practices for security in AWS native services and application deployed in the environment.
