A Senior Front End Developer is required to help scale a marketplace start-up who’s platform is pioneering the digitalisation of the construction industry.
The mission is to build the world’s best procurement platform for the construction industry, re-imagining the supply chain for one of the largest yet least digitised sectors on the planet, to make ordering between contractors and suppliers easier, more efficient, and more cost effective.
About the Role:
As Senior / Lead Front-end Developer, you will be working directly with our CTO and product & engineering team to help build a modern, high performing, Front-end stack.
You will:
Lead development of a series of Front-end, Javascript based apps, including an SEO focused marketing site powered by headless CMS, and several dashboard SPAs and apps.
Manage & coach 1-2 Front-end developers on your team.
Be UK based, happy to work remotely most of the time and able to meet up with the team every few weeks.
Work closely with the Product Team to create a digital experience customers and suppliers love to use.
Use technical and content based SEO strategies to increase search rankings and drive organic traffic.
Together with CTO, product managers and senior technical staff, you will plan product & technology roadmap epics; identifying & breaking down key roadmap epics into estimated deliverables.
Requirements:
Confident to lead & own Front-end architecture, including Javascript SPAs, CSS, assets, technical SEO.
Confident creating UI look and feel – eg UI design & layout for responsive landing pages & dashboards & mobile app screens.
Pro at Git & love working in an agile way.
Test focused – you actually want to have good test coverage and want to test first where possible. You think analytically and responsibly about what it means to have quality code.
Bonuses include working with Next, Flutter or React Native.
