Job Description
Profile & Analyze Source Data (Mainframe Extracts, flat files, SQL Server, web Services etc.) usage using Informatica ETL.Analyzing and evaluating data sources, data volume, and business rules.Automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring.Extraction, transformation and load of data using the ETL tools.Configure/Script Business rules and transformation rules in Informatica.Design, development of Reports and dashboards.Understanding the data model, designing the model for EDW, mapping the data and running the ETL jobs.Ensure appropriate level of Unit Test and System Test of all the deliverablesDefect fixes for System Test, Operational Acceptance Test and Production
Primary Skills: ETL development using Informatica Power Center v10+, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, UNIX, SQL
Secondary Skills: PL/SQL, Versioning Control, Data Analysis
Other Skills Required:
Good to have Knowledge of RailRoad Domain (not mandatory)Experience in Design and implementation of complex ETL processes.Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.Good Understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.Excellent problem solving, debugging, performance tuning skillsProficient in Linux/Unix /Windows shell scriptingExcellent communication skillsAnalysis and resolution of the DQ issues reported
Experience : 5 to 9 years
Job Location : Pune, Baner ( Can work Permanent work from home)
Qualifications
A great communicator of ideas and solutions and a lateral thinker when faced with complex performance or production issues
Any Graduate with degree in Engineering/ Science
