Job Title, Summary & Role Information:
Job Title: Senior Developer
SAP Concur is looking for a talented, motivated and innovative senior developer to join our highly skilled development team in Maidenhead. Working with a broad range of cutting-edge architecture and technologies, you will be helping to implement and deliver high performance micro-services that are relied upon to support the delivery of world class Expense products to our prestigious network of blue-chip customers, all within a collaborative DevOps and Agile environment.
You will collaborate with highly skilled developers using new technologies that embody reactive architecture principles. You will work with dozens of other agile teams to decouple from our monolithic services. With the responsibility to ensure that we can process millions of web transactions every day, your skills will be needed to ensure that your microservice service remains fully operational with zero downtime.
In the first 12 months you will participate in sprint planning as well as code reviews. Support and mentor junior team members and play a key role in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria
Experience (Role Requirements):
Experience with Java 7/8 (including Java frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring) or C# with functional programmingReactive Spring Boot and REST API architecture patternsTest frameworks (Junit, Jenkins) & TDD/BDDCloud computing experience (AWS, Google, Azure cloud)Have a solid foundation in databases like SQL Server, MongoDBFamiliarity with NodeJS & GraphQL, NoSQLBasics of Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of DevOps (BlueGreen Deployments, Configuration Management, Canary Testing)Exposure to Security (Programming Standards, OAuth, Secrets)Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery)Knowledge of MicroService Architecture
