Optum Lab – Level 2 team need to hire Sr Engineering manager who would have the line manager responsibility of mobile engineers, Full stack engineers, Quality engineers, Scrum masters, architect and expected to contribute around 40% of time towards design, building proof of concepts and related activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level
Work delivery and implementation of different applications
Managing end to end delivery of application/product
Participate in scrum meetings and relay business and technical decisions to the application development team
Work closely with the product owner and business SMEs on design of product
Helps build a high-performance team focused on customer satisfaction, deeply engaged within engineering organization contributing positively to Engineering/DevOps pillars
Will put value and have good guidance to offer in regard to all forms of testing
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
15+ years total experience as Seasoned Technical Leader with experience on Mobile technologies, Full stack engineering, cloud development and support, can guide the team and interact with all stakeholders and handle IT deliverables
Experience managing team and guiding patterns and practices
The manager will work with the team and help guide them in this and will not dictate how it should be done
Understanding of mobile security practices
Understanding of CI / CD and appropriate tooling for mobile apps
Builds / agents
Test tooling
Release / Artifact management
Familiar with utilizing API services
Sound architectural understanding of modern mobile apps:
