Get to know the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Ad Operations, you will be this role’s right hand lead in initiating, driving and ensuring the successful and timely delivery of all programs that contribute to operational and service excellence, and business objectives. The successful candidate will lead 1-2 program managers and be responsible for the Ad Operations group’s program roadmap, and the development and tracking of success metrics. An ideal candidate is highly driven, fast paced, has strong ad operations knowledge, experience with industry leading ad platforms like Facebook, Google, and DV360, Audience Extension knowledge, and an excellent track record of people, project, stakeholder management, and delivering results for the business.
The day-to-day activities:
Own the entire Ad Operations group’s establishment roadmap, programs includes:
Ad Ops and cross functional workflow analysis, optimisation, design and standardisation
Business, operations and resource review and planning
SLA design and service excellence
Sales enablement
Documentation and training excellence
Operationalising and ensure smooth rollout of new tools, features and ad products
Ad hoc programs, new business and problem solving initiatives
Develop success metrics and communication approaches for programs.
Own overall program plan, development & tracking.
Ensure all programs’ success and timely delivery, and track key results achievement.
Work cross functionally and with individual program leads to ensure successful and timely delivery of programs.
Anticipate, escalate and resolve roadblocks to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
Develop and maintain a succinct format for weekly and individual program details and status update, and ensure timely update of program status to relevant stakeholders and management.
Position the Ad Ops team as a proactive, essential and trusted business partner for key internal stakeholders through program management excellence, regular internal alignment and communication on programs progress and statuses.
Hiring, training and developing program management team members.
Inspire excellence, teamwork and maintain high individual and team performance.
Develop performance metrics to drive team performance and business results.
Be an effective point of contact for escalations and communication between the team and internal and/or external stakeholders.
Understand, address and communicate Ad Op team’s key product asks and challenges to Product, Engineering and Analytics teams.
Not be afraid to challenge the status quo and proactively surface issues and solutions, and drive automations, operational efficiency, effectiveness, and service excellence.
The must haves:
8+ years of Program Management and Digital Advertising Operations experience.
1-2+ years of people management experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Results-driven, highly motivated and fast paced individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment.
Highly adaptable and resilient.
Resourceful and excellent problem solver.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Outstanding attention to details, organizational and prioritization skills.
Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in an independent setting.
Strong desire to build a world class ad operations team that delivers impeccable service to stakeholders.
Passionate about operational excellence, solving problems, process automation and standardisation, optimizing workflows, initiating process, system, and product improvements, and driving programs to achieve business outcomes.
Ability and desire to train, coach, develop, motivate, bring out the best in team members, and sustain high individual and team performance standards.
Compassionate and collaborative leader.
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to work.
Team Player.
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint / Google Slides and Excel / Google Sheets skills.
The Nice to Haves:
Experience working with product and engineering teams.
PMP certificate or consultancy experience.
Strong knowledge and experience in ad servers, Ad Tech and supporting Ad Operations teams with technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
Strong knowledge and experience in Audience Extension and DSP operations.
SalesForce, Jira, Zendesk or other ticketing system experience.
