Are you looking for the next step in your career and fancy working on a huge franchise in a well-established and successful studio? As Senior Project Manager, you will have responsibility for ensuring projects ship on time and to schedule.

In your new role you will:
o Take ownership for answering the question “are we on schedule”, ensuring sprint, milestone and full roadmap tracking data and analysis is readily available for all stakeholders
o Recommend and aid the rollout of process improvements to help improve tracking and visibility
o Work with development teams and stakeholders to create a better understanding of progress against objectives vs remaining budget and scope
o Ensure project backlogs are up to date and well maintained throughout delivery
o Support resource management activities, ensure teams are well balanced and future hiring needs are communicated early
o Regularly and proactively provide analysis and recommendations based on tracking data and reports
o Manage risks and mitigation relating to scope and tracking
o Work with Leadership and Production to ensure MATs are scoped accurately
o Work with Producers and Leads to ensure development teams are engaged with all aspects of estimation and tracking
o Ensure teams and leadership have the tools and information they need to make effective decisions
o Ensure that each member of the team is working from a tracked schedule and has a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for timeliness of their contribution
o Proactively seek our process improvement opportunities and work with teams to roll out and evaluate changes
o Follow Sumo Digital’s project development standards and guidelines
To be successful you will:
o Have shipped at least 2 games or sizable software projects in a project management role, seeing through the full lifecycles
o Be highly responsible, self-directed, detail oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to a creative environment
o Communicate effectively within a large group/multiple project environment
o Have worked within a AAA game environment in project management roles
o Have successfully supervised the development of multiple project managers/producers
o Can demonstrate exceptional knowledge of production and project management methodologies, tools and best practice
o Have the ability to build and successfully roll out process and best practice to large teams
o Have outstanding organization, communication and exceptional management skills/leadership
o Keep abreast of current trends in the marketplace especially with regard to similar and/or competitive product
