Role: Senior Automation QA Engineer
Location: Pune, India
As part of its growth, Talend is looking for a Senior QA Engineer for its Data Governance Platform team based in Pune, India.
This team provides all necessary back-end services to support Talend’s products requirements. All these services must comply with the expected 99.9% SLA requirement.
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer comfortable with testing back-end services on Cloud-based distributed systems environments.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed with the entire software development lifecycle
from development to production monitoring.

Key Responsibilities: Work closely with PO (Product Owner), QA lead & development team to design relevant end to end (E2E) test cases Implement fully automated integration and system tests following a BDD (Behavior Driven Development) methodology Design and develop test automation framework enhancements Ensure the E2E tests can be run in a continuous integration pipeline, from environment provisioning to the test results report Design and execution of API and manual tests Report and track defects

Skills and experience: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 3+ years working in senior level test automation roles4+ years testing experience with web-based application, preferably in an Agile environment Experience in load and performance testing methodology and framework (Gatling) In-depth knowledge and practical experience in testing techniques Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing Passionate about software quality to provide the best experience to our customersProficient in using tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker and Jira. Strong willing to learn new things including the latest technology

Optional, but desirable: Experience with monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana…) Test Tools and Frameworks like Postman, JBehave, Cucumber Container and Container Orchestration (Docker / K8S) Cloud Environments / Deployments (AWS, Azure)
