Job Description : We are currently hiring a Ruby on Rails developer who can individually work on projects.Sr. ROR (Ruby on Rails) Developer (4-7 years)Experience: 4 to 7 yearsSkill required:Strong knowledge in Ruby on Rails, Jquery, Ajax.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Github, SVN.Strong Knowledge in ActioncableDeploying applications in staging and production environments.Problem-solving attitude with a passion for technology.Hands-on experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex, custom-built applications.Familiarity with few databases, like MySQL, PostgreSQL, any NoSQL, etc.Knowledge in Shopify is a plus.Job ResponsibilitiesWrite server-side web applications using the open source programming language Ruby.Knowledge in Model View Controller(MVC) Architecture.Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.Creating back-end componentsIdentifying and fixing bugs.Integrate websockets with the application.Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.Connecting applications with additional web servers.Maintaining APIs.Job RequirementsExtensive experience in development & maintaining applications using Ruby on RailsHaving knowledge of Front End skills HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript etc.Familiarity with RESTful APIs , HTTPs verbs to connect with back-end web servicesFamiliarity with JSON and JWT (JSON Web Tokens) authorization , CSRFFamiliarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, Active jobs, Active records etcExperience with common libraries such as RSpec and ResqueExperience with SQL backend, preferably Postgres or MySQL .
