Job Description : Are you seeking an environment where you can build a web app for worldwide customers? Fourkites is looking for a “Senior Software Development Engineer – Test” who has proven expertise in scalable systems, working across technologies, and mentoring junior engineers.The position requires a strong engineer with hands-on coding experience in Python and knowledge on Selenium/Appium/Requests. Expect to spend at least 80% of your time doing design and coding. The role also requires you to be able to analyze and work with complex architectures. Our products requirements include compatibility with both internal and external clients, so knowledge of existing and emerging client technologies would be very useful. We expect the ideal candidate to work both independently as well as in collaboration with others on our team as well as with the development staff.Responsibilities: Automate test plans for a significant component, set of features, mid-size application, or service.Able to work independently and with a team to deliver test plans and test cases successfully.Your work is consistently of a high quality (e.g., thorough, thoughtful, data-driven) and incorporates best practices. Your team trusts your work.You write codes/scripts and automated tests that are maintainable and reusable.You constructively identify problems and propose solutions, taking on projects that identify and mitigate risk while measuring software quality.You have established good working relationships with team members and peers working on related software. You recognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialogue to resolve them.You are able to confidently train new team members about your products’ customers, what your software does, how it is constructed, tested, and operated and how it fits into the bigger picture.Participation in design and code inspections.API level testing.Ability to analyze automation frameworks suitable for projectsPerform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionalities of services as a prequel to automation.Analyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate with stakeholdersStrong understanding of Android/iOS internals will be a plusRequired Qualifications: 4+ years of software development experience with enterprise-grade software.Good programming knowledge in Python (Java, Javascript is a bonus)Must have experience building test automation frameworks and tests for multi tenant cloud services.Must have expertise in REST APIs test and UI (Web & Mobile) test automation.Strong automation experience in Selenium Grid, Appium, Python-Requests, Pytest, Browserstack.Should have good exposure to Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Jenkins pipeline jobs.Experience in working with docker and kubernetes.Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, SQS.Working knowledge of at least one Cloud Platforms (Amazon AWS, Azure, etc).Database knowledge is highly desired.Automation development experience with products such as Load Runner/Win Runner or any playback scripting tools does not applyJob Type: Full-time
