Lead and contribute to high-impact and high-visibilty projects empowering security staff across Snowflake with your technical mindset and expertise.
Lead and collaborate in the design, deployment, and maintenance of test and build systems, pipelines, static code analysis, and other reliability infrastructure as well as data RBAC, governance, discoverability, and validation systems on the Snowflake Data Cloud and the traditional infrastructure clouds.
Contribute to our cross-jurisdictional security operations deployment strategy, planning and implementation and assist our operations staff in its execution.
Collaborate with senior as well as junior staff across Snowflake with technical contributions and leadership that effectively progress towards mutually beneficial strategic goals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
You have demonstrated the ability to technically lead / architect medium or large projects the impact of which is realized both during and after your contributions to them.
You have demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers to advance technically while being passionate and effective contributors to their teams.
You have demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changes with a clarity of mind towards various strategic goals.
REQUIRED SKILLSET
7+ years of relevant technology experience
Must have strong experience with Go OR Python (mypy) language along with typescript / javascript
Ability to design, plan, and execute complex technical work while interfacing with a variety of developers, projects, and users.
Ability to understand and speak to technical software engineers, tactical security practitioners, business strategy, compliance, and upper management stakeholders.
Emotional intelligence to steadily navigate the “people and process” risks and opportunities of complex inter-team dynamics
Have a good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with SQL and any modern DBMS such as Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift,etc will be highly beneficial
