Job Description : Do you want to be at the epicenter of cloud computing? Are you passionate about open source software? Azure Compute is the core of Microsoft’s cloud platform and is growing incredibly fast. Compute is undergoing a revolution starting with virtual machines, containers and container orchestrator frameworks like Kubernetes and recently serverless, which enables developers to build scalable event-driven cloud applications with speed and ease.
Azure Arc simplifies governance and management by delivering a consistent multi-cloud and on-premises management platform with a single pane of glass. We are looking for software engineers to help us build a world class certification capability for this hybrid platform specifically for Kubernetes on AzCertify.
AzCertify is a service that has suite of certification capabilities for Azure Compute platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on large scale distributed systems and implement initiatives that are key to Microsoft’s cloud strategy. You’ll be working on both open source and platform components written in a variety of programming languages.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a strong developer to join the AzCertify-Containers team to design, build and ship the next set of features and tools that will define how cloud native container applications are built.
Qualifications
We are looking for a strong developer to join the AzCertify-Containers team to design, build and ship the next set of features and tools that will define how cloud native container applications are built.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and shipping software using any of C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Go.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years hands on experience with distributed systems and services in the cloud.
Proven ability troubleshooting complex technical issues for running online services.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Kubernetes/Docker is a plus.
Ability to engage in site-reliability engineering practices is a plus.
Experience with performance optimization of .NET based systems is a plus.
