The Challenge
We are looking for a very seasoned Solution architect for integrations who can lead architecture and strategy for GEA middleware applications, tools and projects driving value attainment for business. He / She will work closely with business stakeholders and enterprise architects to embrace and implement various solutions using middleware applications and tools. Individual will also be leading the architecture effort to define and implement a cloud-native, service-oriented integration platform. The individual should have deep experience with middleware applications, including expert level knowledge of MuleSoft, as well as the C4E approach and underlying CI/CD utilizing the detailed review of integration requirements. The architect should have both business as well as technical skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations. The individual will be partnering with strategic DT team members to ensure decisions made are in the best interest of the overall organization.
What you will Do
• Expertise in architecting API-led connectivity, 3 layered architecture • Hands-on experience – Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule ESB, Mule Connectors including ActiveMQ/EBS, DataWeave, Anypoint Exchange, Public portal, Mule Templates, Mule Scopes, Mule Routers, Mule Components, Mule Transformers, Mule Filters, Mule Flow Control, Mule Runtime Engine • Experience in deployments using Mule CloudHub, Runtime Fabric (RTF) • Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) using REST Web Services and XML based Web Services (SOAP/WSDL) • Experience in Mule Administration, Configuration, & Tuning with Anypoint Runtime Manager • Hands-on with performance analysis, scalability, clustering, load balancing and tuning for enterprise level systems • Experience with RAML, Mulesoft API Platform, RESTful API Programming and Design • Experience in Testing strategies, Code Quality, Security and Coverage – MUnit, SonarQube. • Expertise in providing mentoring and guidance on technical and architectural direction, methodology, design, and reuse to support various EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) project initiatives • Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, security, reliability, cost effectiveness, monitoring and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform. • Guide implementation teams on the choice of Mule components and patterns to use in the detailed design and implementation • Monitoring, Alerting, Error Handling and Notifications, API-versioning and Release Management – Best Practices • performance tuning and packaging applications • Experience in cloud concepts and building cloud solutions on AWS • Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders. Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills Others/Desirable – • Integration expertise with BigCommerce, Salesforce, Salsify, Oracle EBS/OCI • CI/CD Deployments, Agile Methodology • Center for Enablement (C4E) and Domain Driven Design • MuleSoft Certified Developer, Mule Certified Integrations Architect • Docker containers and Kubernetes for RTF deployments • Multi-cloud exposure – Google, AWS, Azure
What you need to Succeed
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on-experience architecting, leading, and delivering solutions related to enterprise integration, APIs, service-oriented architecture • MuleSoft 4 Certified Integration Architect • Fluency in standard data formats like JSON, XML, YAML • Practical knowledge of diverse or hybrid infrastructure including cloud and on-prem connectivity • Strong understanding of underlying ESB architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid). • Understanding of architectural concepts for new cloud-based integration platform implementations including encryption, security, logging, scalability, clustering, and securing solutions • Strong experience in Application Development, SOA/EAI technologies and API management. • Deep understanding of Web Services (SOAP & REST), XML and JSON formats document schemas, HTTP protocol, and underlying internetworking concepts • Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, Git, and/or comparable toolsets • Experience with Java/JEE programming/development • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues and defects • Experience with a breadth of inbound/outbound connectors, for example: Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS services, etc. • Self-motivated, self-directed, and independent thinking yet team player • Able to independently conduct research and organize, analyze, interpret and report on research results to make architectural recommendations for enterprise infrastructure service delivery and technology acquisition impact assessments. • Plan and conduct high level meetings and interviews for addressing and resolving architecture design, deployment and management issues, as is the ability to communicate complex technical issues in terms clearly understood by technical and non-technical audiences. • Comfortable interacting with individuals/groups at various organizational levels. • Strong communication and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Any point Cloud Hub, and API Management • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate • Experience in Spring Framework • Integrations with ecommerce platforms like BigCommerce and salesforce • Has knowledge of building integrations with with Oracle EBS • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) • Experience with message queue design patterns, streaming integrations. • Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications. • Experience designing, developing, securing and managing APIs via API Gateways and proxies • Strong collaboration skills. • Strong consulting skills.
