Senitor Associates are delighted to be working a game-changing cloud-based legal technology and services provider with the head office being based in Central London and has other offices in San Francisco, New York, Edinburgh and Singapore.
My client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Client Infrastructure team having strong Kubernetes and AWS experience.
My client is in an exciting time as we transition their game-changing legal software to a highly scalable container-based platform, from the existing Infrastructure-as-Code AWS implementation.
What we need from you:
*** Good BASH scripting skills
*** Application and infrastructure networking skills – Subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, TLS, HTTPS, etc
***Successful track record of driving pipeline and service development initiatives
***Working knowledge with webservers – Nginx, Envoy or HAproxy preferred, Apache or other
*** Amazon Web Services (AWS) – SolArch Associate or higher certification or equivalent proven knowledge
***Worked in a software engineering environment previously / familiar with release and deployment, versioning, change mgmt., etc. processes***Cisco software defined networking solutions (SD-Access, ACI, SD-WAN)
*** GIT version control in-depth experience, preferred experience with Github Enterprise Server
*** Familiar with Scrum / Agile methodologies is a bonus, but you will have previously worked in a fast-paced engineering role
*** Kubernetes – Good familiarity required; CKA/CKD certification
Desirable:
*** Underpinning of Linux (RHEL or Debian-base) administrations, LPIC / RHCSA certification
*** 2+ years’ experience with HA AWS setups, multi-region or multi-cloud
*** 2+ years’ experience with container administration (K8S, Docker, Swarm, etc.).
***Good knowledge of Python 3+ / Ruby / Go or any OO scripting language (for automation and config. mgmt.).
***GitHub Cloud experience and GitHub Actions / Packages knowledge
***Good working knowledge with Continuous Integration tools (above or others, such as Circle, etc.).
