We are looking for a Java Software Developer with excellent engineering skills to join the PingIntelligence for APIs team.
This position is based in our Bangalore office. Elastic Beam, a fully owned subsidiary of Ping Identity.
As part of the PingIntelligence for APIs engineering team and reporting to a Product Development Manager, you will:
Help build PingIntelligence for APIs an AI-based product for API Security
Implement epics, user stories, and fix defects
Work with product managers and other developers to implement product capabilities
Create scalable solutions and services for cloud
Debug, Troubleshoot issues, and provide fixes
Participate in design and code reviews
Work with team members while implementing features and fixing bugs
You have:
5+ years of software development experience in commercial, enterprise-level product environments
Expert knowledge of Java
Experience building microservices
Experience with Spring Boot framework
Understanding of Spring Security, and RESTful API development using Spring Web MVC
Understanding of Spring Data JPA
Hands-on knowledge of Linux OS(RHEL/Ubuntu), shell scripting and Git
Experience building scalable cloud-based applications
Good networking and security concepts using TCP and HTTP protocols, SSL and REST APIs
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with asynchronous messaging (Kafka)
Experience of NoSQL databases like MongoDB,Cassandra, Elasticsearch
Awareness/experience of Cloud Platforms AWS/Azure
Knowledge of Dockerization and Kubernetes
Knowledge of running Agile Practice
Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC protocol
