Responsibilities and Duties
Roles and responsibilities include managing Java application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Skills
3-4years of hands-on software development experience in Java/spring applications.
Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications in the spring framework.
Experience developing Micro Service applications using Spring Boot.
Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM development environment
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search
Experience working with any reporting platforms such as Jasper Reports, SSRS, or Pentaho Reporting
Desired Skills
Knowledge of Spring Cloud technologies – Spring Boot, ZUUL, Hystrix, Ribbon, Spring integration
Expertise with configuration and deployment of web applications and web services in Apache Tomcat, Nginx
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes based container deployment
Experience with Data Integration framework such as Pentaho
