NetApp’s Astra Trident product development team is looking for a talented, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team! Job Requirements

What you will do:

Participate in technical discussions within the Engineering team and across functions
Design and Develop test cases for new features
Write automated tests for features in Python
Develop tools and libraries to help with automating Test cases
Enhance Automation Framework
Troubleshoot CI failures and identify root cause for Test failures

Skill Requirements:

2+ years of experience in product quality, testing methodologies, and having the customer perspective on technical/complex software solutions.
Proficiency in Python (or other high-level languages), with a focus on test automation.
Experience with a Test Automation Frameworks and Test Driver Development.
Experience with implementing, developing, writing and executing functional and system level test plans, test cases and test reports.
Expert with Linux or other Unix-like Operating Systems with ability to troubleshoot basic network and/or storage issues.
Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, CI build systems and Automated Testing.

Education
BE/BTech or ME/MTech and 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment

Additional qualification:

Good understanding of concepts related to storage architecture and standard programming practices
Experience in Agile Software Development practices
Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
